Comparable to the MIP-1800, the rack-and-pinion tensioner uses a serrated gripping dog to hold onto the end of the pulled strap. Its small size makes it ideal for jobs where the workspace is tight.

This tool has an easy to use mechanism for tensioning with limited rack pickup. This is intended for use on medium tension loads.
