Comparable to the MIP-1400, hand tensioners allow users to bring straps to a desired tension with low effort and time. These tools have a rest that is to be rested on flat surfaces on the objects that are being strapped.

For smaller or irregular objects, a push-type tensioner is recommended. This is intended for high tension loads.
