Terms and Conditions

Prices and Payment Terms:

  • Prices are in USD and are subject to change without notice.

  • All orders are accepted subject to United Strapping Tools (UST) price in effect at time of shipment. Prices do not include any sales, use, taxes, shipping, import duties or other charges related to the sale.

  • Purchaser is responsible for shipping and import duty fees. IF UST is subsequently required to pay any fees, purchaser shall fully defend and indemnify UST therefor.

  • Terms of payment are standard 30 days net from the date of UST's invoice if not paid for by credit card. Overdue invoices will incur interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.

  • Purchaser's inspection rights herein will not affect the payment terms.

  • If Purchaser fails to make any payment as required, purchaser agrees to indemnify UST for all associated costs incurred by UST.

Shipping Policy: 

  • All orders ship via United Parcel Service (U.P.S.) or through an authorized LTL freight carrier.

  • All orders must be shipped to a physical location only, PO box shipments will not be able to be processed.

  • Tool orders placed by 12:00 noon CT are generally processed and shipped the same day if it lies on a shipment day, though under some circumstances there may be delays.

  • Expedited orders received before 1:30 PM CT are generally processed and shipped the same day but is not guaranteed. If the order is an emergency, please email or call before placing the order. 

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day.

  • UST processes shipments three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

  • UST is not responsible for any shipping related fee. All shipments will be placed with Purchasers shipping account number. Any shipment fees incurred under UST's own shipping account will be added to the final invoice. 

  • Orders that are requested to be shipped with a specific carrier, USPS, FedEx, will result in longer processing times. All orders must be deliverable to the provided address. If the carrier informs UST that the address is not deliverable, then the Purchaser is responsible for the difference in freight to use another service.

  • UST reserves the right to decline a delivery method if the Purchasers provided address is non-deliverable. 

  • Delivery times are not guaranteed by UST. We guarantee that the package was handed off to the selected carrier in good fashion, packaged for safe shipping. 

  • All shipments are insured up to 90% of the order value, unless requested otherwise from the Purchaser. Any shipments handed off to the carrier service will be out of the control of UST. Any shipments lost or damaged in transit with or without insurance is not the responsibility of UST but if there is problem, we will do our utmost to help alleviate it. 

  • Returned shipments by the carrier will be resulting in a $15 processing and re-shipping fee. 

  • All orders are inspected prior to shipment and shipped in working condition.

Return Policy: 

  • The Purchaser has the right to examine the products for a span of 15 days following their delivery. If products are not found to meet the sale specifications during this Inspection period, the Purchaser must bring this to UST's attention in writing and allow UST a reasonable chance to inspect the products and rectify any issues.

  • Should the Purchaser neglect to submit such written notice within the Inspection period, it will be considered that the Purchaser has accepted the products. 

  • Purchaser is prohibited from returning any product without obtaining prior written consent from UST.

  • Product returns will not be accepted after 30 days from date of shipment.

  • Returns will not be accepted unless accompanied by a Return Authorization Number (RMA). Please email us to be provided with this number and be sure to include it on the shipping label. 

  • UST will not accept return of products that have been used, this includes altered or etched items

  • Custom made products are non-returnable. This includes special made products.

  • A 20% restock fee shall be made on all products returned, as well as a reconditioning charge if required.

  • All returned products must be in original packaging with original name plates attached.

Demo Tool Policy:

  • Only authorized distributors in good financial standing with UST are eligible to request demo tools for customer trials.

  • Distributors must submit a formal request for demo tools. All demo tool requests are subject to approval by UST.

  • UST will either drop-ship the demo tool directly to the customer or to the distributor on request.

  • Customers have a trial period of 5 calender days, starting from the day the demo tool is received, to evaluate the tool.

  • Demo tools must be returned in the same condition as received, with all original accessories and packaging intact.

  • Distributors are financially responsible for the demo tool during the trial period, including any damage, loss or theft.

  • At the end of the 5-day trial period, distributors have two options:

    1. Keep the tool: If the customer decides to keep the tool, UST will invoice the distributor for payment.

    2. Return the tool: If the customer decides to not keep the tool, it must be returned to UST within 5 days at the distributor's expense.​
